Min Rojas stands out as one of the highly in-demand pianists in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth jazz scene. Originally from South Korea and now calling Texas home, Min has recently graduated from the University of North Texas, where she was mentored by the acclaimed Dave Meder.
As a performer, Min has graced stages at major events like the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, the Texas Capitol, and various jazz clubs, concert halls, and educational institutions. Her credits include recordings with the UNT Jazz Singers and the Two O’Clock Lab Band, as well as touring with the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band in 2024. She is the 2024 selectee of JEN Sisters in Jazz.
Beyond her life as a performer, Min is a dedicated music educator. While at UNT, she served as a graduate teaching fellow, teaching freshmen jazz pianists the fundamentals of jazz piano performance and coaching a jazz combo. In her private studio, she continues to share her musical expertise and passion to students of all ages and skill levels. Her teaching interests cover a diverse range of topics from jazz and classical piano performance to music theory, composition, arranging, and digital audio workstations (Logic Pro, Pro Tools, etc.).
