Cory Hungerford

Cory Hungerford is retired from the United States Marine Corps after 20 years of service. During his career he served with the Quantico Marine Corps Band in Quantico, Virginia, the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Band in Okinawa, Japan, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band (twice) in San Diego, California, The U.S. Naval Forces and Africa Band in Naples, Italy, and the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia. His final assignment was serving as the Director of Chamber Ensembles and Staff Arranger with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band where in addition to his leadership responsibilities, he also performed nationwide as musical director and sousaphonist with the band’s acclaimed Brass Band. 

As a guest artist and clinician, Cory has performed in over 30 countries working with international military bands and students of all levels. Some notable achievements include performing at national conferences including the U.S. Army Tuba Euphonium Workshop, International Euphonium Tuba Conference, and the Texas Music Educators Association Annual Conference.
